Full 72hr Permaculture Design Course    York, UK   1-13th Aug 2011  (+ Optional Non Violent Communication training)Following the amazing success of the PDC and follow up Action Learning internship in York, we have decided to run two courses here in 2011- An amazing chance to join an integrated and up to date PDC and optional NVC training!   Integralpermanence is offering this powerful and engaging Full 72 hr Permaculture Design Course, with the possibility to stay on and be involved in physically creating the communal final design for the site.  By actively engaging in a real design you have participated in creating you will be able to embody skills and understanding much more deeply, as well as enjoy living simply together on the land and exploring various  aspects of community living. This exciting and engaging full 72hr Design Course is being held at Simon Hayhursts beautiful and inspiring project in Wick, between Bath and Bristol.  Simon planted a large variety of trees as a child on the site, and is now enjoying the rich and diverse woodland mosaics forming 25 years on!  Plans for an exciting Edible Food Forest are evolving, amongst the organic veg production and integrative animal husbandry systems.  This is an extremely exciting site, and a great time to visit as things are really taking off!
We shall cover all the standard curricular, extended with a fertile mix of film nights, evening workshops, aspects of community building and other topics the group is excited about.  Fast paced and holistic by nature, this course is suitable for complete beginners or practising Permaculturists looking to extend their skill- sets.  Mixing hands on Action learning and engaging lecture- story telling, this course is a life changing event!  On completion of the course you receive an internationally recognised Permaculture Design Certificate that allows you to go on with studies or practice as a Permaculture Designer, and you shall be confident to move out into the world with a powerful set of action learning based skills and knowldege for positive, holistic and regenerative world changing!  Email for booking/ information pack integralpermanence@gmail.com

This intensive Eco Village Design Training deepens and broadens the journey into Regenerative Eco- Social Design.  I am attending this course with a conscious focus on Power Sharing, Decision Making and Non- Violent (or compassionate) communication.  This has been the focus of my attention throughout my learning pathway studying MSc Integrative Ecosocial Design at Gaia University.  With this time to really expand my learning edges in these regards may I be able to enrich the Permaculture courses I teach, the mini communities that form in those courses and the designed Action Internships I have begun designing to follow up PDCs wherever possible.

Island Regeneration- Full Permaculture Design Course          6th Sept- 16th Sept 2009      
Tamarind Springs      Koh Samui

Full 72 hr Permaculture Design Course on the tropical paradise of Koh Samui.  This course shall be tailored towards the needs of a unique island situation yet still covering the essential materials for regenerative design in the tropics/ sub- tropics.   Islands are particularly exciting and  potentially incredibly powerful models to inland areas due to the defined edges and clear input/ output analysis.  They also represent fragile systems and it is essential to start implementing powerful models in an area that receieves over 1, 000  000 visitors a year!

We have the opportunity to initiate a permaculture demonstration site on the island during the Mala festival over the following couple of weeks after the course, a fantastic opportunity to put some knowledge into practice!

Natural Building / Community Living Integrated Internship         10th Aug- 5th Sept 2009      www.PanyaProject.org

I am excited to offer a four week internship at the Panya Project focusing on hands-on natural building and Permaculture practices. Interns will assist on a diverse building project using adobe and other earthen techniques, as well as work on the land with Permaculture principals to help establish our food forest systems.  You will get hands-on experience in many aspects of adobe building, from brick making to laying, plastering, and painting with natural paints. In addition to this, we’ll spend time exploring the world of permaculture design, and sustainability on many levels, from the individual to the community, and the bigger questions that we face today as a global village.

Im attending an orientation at the Regenerative Design Institute in Bolinas, CA, for Gaia University where I study M.Sc Integrative Eco- Social Design.  This is followed by a 4 day re- evaluative co- councelling course before returning home to Panya!
